09 August 2021European stock exchanges lose a bit of polish at the end of the morning. Milan is an exception, which remains up by 0.52%; just above par Paris, while Frankfurt and London drop.

Among stocks, Unipol remains strongly up (+ 2.91%), which had already closed with a gain of almost 3% on Friday after very solid half-year accounts. Oil, on the other hand, is bad: Eni is worse than the list with a -0.70%. The drop in the price of crude oil weighs heavily, also due to the new restrictions on movements in China. Brent is now well below the threshold of 70 dollars a barrel, at 67.97.
