Tokyo: Pellegrini elected IOC member in athletes' quota

08 August 2021Federica Pellegrini has taken her new assignment outside the Olympic swimming pools very seriously.
In an Instagram post, written in French, the Italian swimming champion reiterated that she wanted to commit "to serving the Olympic Movement to the best of my ability".
Pellegrini was elected to the IOC Commission, representing the athletes, during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics which today, with the closing ceremony and the extinguishing of the Olympic flame, handed over the baton to Paris 2024
