From what transpires on the NGO Sos Mediterranee ship there are 502 men and boys (107 minors) and 47 women (11 minors). 17 are alone, 3 are expecting a baby. The migrants come from 21 countries including Bangladesh, Egypt, Mali, Morocco and Eritrea.

The #OceanViking is left with no instructions to disembark the 553 survivors in a place of safety.

Yesterday in Lampedusa there were another 7 landings of sea wagons.

So 243 people have landed in the last 24 hours on the largest of the Pelagie.

For all, after a first health triage, the transfer to the Contrada Imbriacola hotspot was arranged, where the presences have once again reached over 600.
