The Mayor of Yokohama election was announced today, and a record number of eight people ran for it.

In this election, the Liberal Democratic Party decided to vote voluntarily, but many city council members supported Mr. Okonogi, and locally elected Prime Minister Suga also announced his support.
The Komeito, which also decided to vote voluntarily, is also effectively supporting it.
Some LDP city council members are helping Mr Hayashi.
The Constitutional Democratic Party supports Mr. Yamanaka, and also supports the Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party.
