Kuwait.. Deportation of an Arab resident accused of mocking the Kuwaiti currency
Last week, the Ministry of Interior expelled a Syrian resident to Damascus, after he was administratively deported from the country, because he appeared in a video clip on his personal account on social media, sitting in front of a large sum of Kuwaiti currency and behaving in an inappropriate manner, as he was accused of “tampering and mocking the local currency.” According to Al-Qabas newspaper.
The Cybercrime Department had arrested the Syrian resident after the video clip was widely circulated, in which he appeared complaining of fatigue as a result of the amount of money in his possession, which he claimed during his investigation was “the proceeds of renting a building, and that his behavior was from Entertainment door.
