"Emergency situations have been announced in the Leninsky district on August 6, in Oktyabrsky - from 09:00 (02:00 Moscow time) on August 8," TASS reports.

It is noted that within a week, a flood ridge on the Amur River will pass through the region. 

"Now the hydrological situation in the Jewish Autonomous Region is developing in accordance with the forecast," the press service added.

As specified, a rise in water level is observed on the Amur River.

Earlier, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that the hydrological situation in the Khabarovsk Territory is deteriorating.
