A New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has filed charges against her boss for sexual harassment.

The complaint was received the day before, said a representative of judicial authorities on Friday.

According to US media reports, he is one of the eleven women whose allegations against Cuomo were investigated by two independent lawyers on behalf of the prosecution.

The results of this official investigation were presented earlier this week.

The lawyers classified the statements of the women as credible.

Cuomo had "undesirably and not consensually touched her and made numerous remarks of a lewd sexual nature," said Attorney General Letitia James.

Cuomo denies allegations

According to the investigation report, the woman, who, according to media reports, has now filed a complaint, accuses Cuomo of grabbing her under her blouse and chest in his office last year.

The 63-year-old politician has rejected all allegations so far.

"I have never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances," he said in a televised address this week.

Cuomo also refused numerous requests to resign.

US President Joe Biden also suggested that his party colleague resign.

New York House Chairman Carl Heastie, also a Democrat, initiated impeachment proceedings.

Cuomo has until August 13th to present evidence in his defense.

Cuomo's lawyers accused the investigators of bias and procedural errors.

"There was no open-minded fact search in this case," said Cuomo's lawyer Rita Glavin.

"This investigation was carried out in such a way that a predetermined point of view was supported." It was not about the search for the truth - "the investigators were prosecutors, judges and jury in one".

The investigation published by Attorney General Letitia James on Tuesday found that Cuomo had sexually molested former and current employees of the state authorities. Among other things, there were unwanted touches, kisses, hugs and inappropriate comments. In addition, the governor, who has been in office since 2011, created a “hostile working atmosphere” and a “climate of fear” for women.

Cuomo and other parties involved had not received any advance notice that the investigation report was ready, when it would be published and what it said - and thus had no opportunity to react or justify it, complained Glavin. “The governor deserves to be treated fairly, and that was not the case here. The governor was attacked. ”In addition, the people charged in the investigation report still did not have the transcripts of the evidence, said attorney Paul Fishman. "That's a problem."
