A police officer was seriously injured Tuesday morning when he fell down the stairs of the Pereire station, located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, reports France Bleu Paris.
He and his colleagues were pursuing the driver of a recovery truck, who had left his vehicle to escape their control.
In a coma, the victim was still Thursday between life and death, specifies the media.
The man being pursued was arrested by a police officer from the BAC a few moments later.
