When the man was found in the forest in Fjällnora on July 22, he had been missing for two months.

The body, which was to some extent buried, was found by a private person and according to prosecutor Thomas Bälter, animals probably dug up the body and made it visible.

- We have made other finds at the site, but I have no knowledge of which, he says.

Several stab wounds

According to information to SVT, the man is said to have been killed with several stab wounds to the upper body.

- There is nothing I want to comment on.

I can say that it is injuries to the body that indicate that he has been murdered, but what kind of injuries do I want to keep to myself, says Thomas Bälter.

Mapping the victim

At present, there is no detainee in the investigation.

- We work to try to find a suspected perpetrator, then we investigate these findings and map the victim's last days in life, says Thomas Bälter.
