train is stopped and the passengers rush towards the station entrance.

After a while, the station attendants rush to the stopped train.

At around 8:30 last night, a man inside a train on the Odakyu Line in Tokyo, Japan, committed a riot and the train came to an emergency stop.

At least 10 passengers were stabbed in the attack by the suspect.

All were taken to the hospital in a conscious state, but one woman in her 20s was said to be seriously injured.

Witnesses stated that a man, believed to be in his 20s, suddenly wielded a knife at nearby passengers.

After the crime, the man jumped off the track and fled, but an hour and a half later, he was arrested at a convenience store 6 km away from the scene.

It is said that the suspect dropped a weapon and cell phone at the scene during the escape.

The Japanese police have arrested and investigated the suspect, but the exact cause and motive of the accident have not yet been confirmed.

In Japan, in 2019, a man wielded a weapon on a road in Kawasaki city near Tokyo, killing an elementary school student and an adult and injuring 17 others.

Also earlier in 2018, a so-called 'don't ask' knife riot occurred on a Shinkansen high-speed train, killing one person and injuring two others.
