According to him, there are political factors in the fact that the EMA has not yet approved Sputnik V.

We have encountered some problems related to the movement of our citizens in Italy.

) is recognized in the EU, but only for San Marino citizens who have been vaccinated by Pfizer, ”said Ciawatta.

He added that, therefore, those who have been grafted into "Sputnik V" - which is about 94% of the population of San Marino - have difficulty entering Italy and using services on its territory, such as visiting bars or restaurants.

“We are now working with the Italian government to find a solution to this problem,” the minister said.

Earlier, the EC recognized the vaccination certificates of San Marino, where Sputnik V is used, as valid in the EU.
