Sixteen teams came to the fore and will participate in the online promotion and finals on August 28 to compete for the championship.

  A total of 96 teams from mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei and other countries and regions participated in the preliminary contest.

  The top 16 teams that have successfully advanced include Jimei High School from Mainland China, Pui Kiu High School and Chuangzhi High School from Hong Kong, China, Klang Xinghua High School (2 teams), Kuala Lumpur Kuncheng High School (3 teams), Johor Bahru Kwan Rou High School, Kwan Rou High School Kulai Branch (2 teams), Kuala Lumpur Chinese Independent High School (2 teams), Overseas Chinese High School in the Philippines (2 teams) and Brunei Chung Hwa High School in Brunei.

  According to the organizers and organizers, the scope of questions for the promotion and finals will include Tan Kah Kee’s life deeds, the Pacific War, modern Chinese history and a brief history of overseas Chinese (Asia).

The teams that have successfully advanced to the top 16 will compete with the two teams in a must-answer and quick-answer match, fighting against their opponents in the group and competing for the top eight places.

The eight winning teams from the 16th round of promotion will no longer be drawn, and two adjacent teams will compete in the quarter-finals.

  The four winning teams from the quarterfinals will qualify for the finals and participate in the final competition. The winners will be determined based on the total score.

The championship, second, quarter and third place teams will win cash prizes of US$2,000, US$1,500, US$1,000 and US$500 and a trophy, and each participating member will receive a certificate of merit.

Each team member who successfully advances to the top 16 will also be awarded a promotion certificate.

  This competition is organized by the Tan Kah Kee Foundation Friendship Association, honored sponsored by the Chiyou Tan Kah Kee Education Fund, and undertaken by the Malaysian Tan Kah Kee Foundation.   The purpose of the competition is to commemorate the famous overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee and promote his precious spirit.
