According to the text of the statement, payments will be received by medical workers and specialists in contact with COVID patients who provide assistance in the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus.
The authorities will continue to provide related payments until September 30, 2021.
In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the authorities' intention to introduce a single base salary for all healthcare workers.
According to him, the new system of remuneration in the health sector should provide for the same base salary for all regions and a transparent list of additional payments and allowances.
