According to the human rights activist, the accused is not familiar with the results of the forensic psychiatric examination, but claims that he now feels sane. 

"Maybe at the time of the attack I was insane, but now I am sane and repent, I admit my guilt," Galyaviev told the POC members. 

The human rights activist clarified that the arrested person is being held in a pre-trial detention center in a three-bed cell, he has two neighbors - one is accused of murder, the other of robbery.

According to him, his relations with inmates are normal.

Galyaeviev complained to the POC that he had not received letters for a long time, said that he wanted to return to Kazan, and hoped that the investigation would allow him to meet with his parents.
