According to him, preparations have now begun for the seasonal increase in the incidence of influenza.
“It is very important that during this period of preparation for vaccination against influenza, the population, first of all, is vaccinated against coronavirus infection,” said Murashko at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government.
He noted that prevention helps to avoid the rise in morbidity and severe disease.
Earlier, Mikhail Murashko said that 38.9 million people have already been vaccinated against coronavirus in Russia.
