The alarm came in to SOS Alarm around 17:20 on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened on the E10, just a few kilometers from central Gällivare.
The rescue service and an ambulance are on site at the accident site.
The damage situation is currently unclear.
The road will be closed in both directions during the rescue operation.
Road users are instead directed to the E45 that passes Gällivare Airport.
