Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, celebrated her 40th birthday in a video asking her friends to help women get back to work after the pandemic.

The former actress, and wife of Prince Harry, appears in a short recording, joking with actress Melissa McCarthy, two months after the birth of her second child, Lillipet.

"On the occasion of my 40th birthday celebration, I am asking 40 friends to dedicate 40 minutes of their time to help guide women who are preparing to return to the job market," she says in the video.

"I think if we all did that, and put 40 minutes into something like that, it would have the other result," she said.

Harry revealed that he intends to publish his memoirs at the end of 2022, recalling "mistakes" and "lessons learned", according to the publishing house behind this project.

The Archwell Foundation, run by Harry and Meghan, also announced that the latter will produce an animated series for "Netflix", to encourage young girls to break free, a work inspired by female characters who made history.

In addition, the couple entered into contracts with huge amounts of money with Netflix and Spotify.
