05 August 2021 Free approval of the Council of Ministers to the new decree on the Green Pass. This is what is being learned from government sources at CDM which is still ongoing. The decree, among other things, provides for the obligation of the Green Pass for teachers, university students and for those who use long-distance transport. From tomorrow, however, in Italy the obligation of the green certificate is triggered in order to have access to some services, for example indoor clubs, cinemas, theaters and museums. The new DL Covid, the second dedicated to the Green pass, will therefore complete the framework of the introduction of the green certification started with the last decree that from August 6 establishes the obligation of anti-Covid19 certification to access restaurants, museums, swimming pools, shows open to the public, festivals, fairs, conferences and congresses, spas,theme and amusement parks.
School and university
All school and university staff, "in order to guarantee public health and maintain adequate safety conditions in the provision in the presence of the essential education service", must have and exhibit the Green pass. "Failure to comply with the provisions is considered unjustified absence and, starting from the fifth day of absence, the employment relationship is suspended and no remuneration or other remuneration or emolument, however named, is due". This is what the draft of the decree provides.
Long distance transport
The Green Pass will be mandatory from 1 September on interregional ships and ferries with the exception of the Strait of Messina, on Intercity, Intercity Night and High Speed trains, on buses that connect more than two Regions. Obligation of green certification also for buses used for rental service with driver, with the exception of those additional to the local and regional public service. This is foreseen by the draft of the new dl on the Green pass launched by the CDM. The obligation does not apply to subjects excluded by age from the vaccination campaign and to subjects exempted from the vaccine with medical certification.
Agreement reached also regarding the

What is the Green Pass for
The Covid-19 green certification is required in Italy to participate in parties for civil and religious ceremonies, access nursing homes or other facilities, move in and out of territories classified in the "red zone" or "orange zone".

How to obtain
Certification must certify that you have had at least one dose of vaccine or have tested negative for a molecular or rapid swab in the previous 48 hours or have been cured of Covid-19 in the previous six months. Green Certification is not required for children excluded by age from the vaccination campaign and exempt subjects on the basis of suitable medical certification.
Green Pass also for those vaccinated abroad
Those who are registered with the National Health Service and have been vaccinated abroad against the coronavirus, or who have recovered from outside Italy, can request the Green pass if they are on the national territory. This was established by a circular from the Ministry of Health on how to issue green Covid-19 certifications, which, for Italian citizens, also concerns family members living together, regardless of whether they are registered with the health service.
It will be necessary to present themselves in the local health authorities of territorial competence, according to the procedures established by the Regions and autonomous Provinces, presenting an identification document and any tax code, as well as a series of documents, in paper and / or digital format, drawn up in English and, for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano in English or German. If the certificates produced are in another language, a sworn translation will be required.
