Representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarrick declined to comment on the call of the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to impose a temporary moratorium on additional vaccinations against coronavirus infection COVID-19.
"I will not comment on this issue at the moment," TASS quoted him as saying.
Dujarrick noted that WHO plays a leading role in medical matters and the UN fully supports their work.
Earlier it became known that WHO is calling for a moratorium on booster (additional) vaccinations against COVID-19, at least until the end of September.
