(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) The epidemic spreads in many places, Chinese officials have specified stricter prevention and control measures by water, land and air

China News Service, Beijing, August 4 (Reporter Li Chun) The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of China held a press conference on August 4 to further strengthen the prevention and control of the epidemic.

In response to the recent situation of multiple outbreaks and local outbreaks in the country, the relevant officials of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., and the Ministry of Transport of China introduced more stringent prevention and control measures.

Han Guangzu, deputy director of the Flight Standards Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said that the reasons for the clustered epidemic at Nanjing Lukou Airport include inadequate implementation of the prevention and control system, and long-term smooth operation that has caused the airport employees to become lax and paralyzed.

In response to the above-mentioned weaknesses, Han Guangzu pointed out that the Civil Aviation Administration has strengthened its supervision and guidance of airports and intensified inspections; strengthened the training of front-line staff and promoted all airports to carry out special training on epidemic prevention and control knowledge for all employees.

At the same time, the frequency of nucleic acid testing for all front-line staff is encrypted.

He emphasized that it is necessary to resolutely implement the regulations and requirements in the "Guidelines for Prevention and Control Technology" that international and domestic flight service guarantee personnel must not be mixed.

Wu Shiping, deputy director of the Ministry of Labor and Health of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd., said that in response to the outbreak of epidemics in many places in China, the railway department has adopted six measures: First, the national railway stations strictly implement the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the local governments and resolutely eliminate non-compliance. People who are required to travel must enter the station and board the train; second, in accordance with the capital’s epidemic prevention and control requirements, suspend the sale of tickets for trains entering Beijing in medium- and high-risk areas such as Nanjing and Zhengzhou; third, introduce free refund measures to guide passengers to rationally arrange their itineraries and reduce the flow of people; The fourth is to continue to strengthen the prevention and control of station cars, strengthen the disinfection and ventilation of station cars, and guide passengers to wear masks throughout the journey.

At the same time, emergency response has been strengthened, and isolation seats have been set up on the trains. In the event of feverish passengers, they shall be isolated and disinfected in time and handed over to the local epidemic prevention department.

The fifth is to strengthen the management of railway cleaning operations; the sixth is to comprehensively strengthen employee protection and health monitoring.

Li Huaqiang, deputy director of the Department of Transportation Services of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China, said that in light of the development trend of the epidemic, the Ministry of Transport has implemented guidelines for the prevention and control of the epidemic in areas such as roads, waterways, imported cold chain food logistics, ports and their frontline personnel, and ship crews. The work measures and prevention and control requirements have been refined and actualized, thereby minimizing the risk of epidemic input.

At the same time, in conjunction with the National Immigration Administration of China, we will strictly implement the port's circuit breaker measures.

As of August 3, 4 circuit breakers have been implemented, and a total of 18 shipping companies and 438 ships' foreign crew members have been suspended from changing shifts at ports in China.

Li Huaqiang said that the Ministry of Transport instructed the affected areas to promptly close road passenger transport services in and out of the counties and districts where the medium and high-risk areas are located, and suspend the cross-city bus, taxi, and ride-hailing services in the cities where the medium and high-risk areas are located.

For bus and rail transit lines passing through medium- and high-risk areas, stop and cross-station operations will be implemented.

He particularly emphasized that transport operators engaged in imported cold chain logistics shall not carry imported cold chain food that cannot provide a source of purchase.
