04 August 2021 The data on American employment in the private sector disappoint analysts. Wall Street opens weak with the Dow Jones down 0.59% and the Nasdaq flat.

This start of the session in the US does not help the European lists, which are beginning to slow down. Milan marks a modest increase of 0.13% in line with London, Paris gains a quarter of a point and Frankfurt almost half a point.

In Piazza Affari the spotlight is still on on the quarterly results. The stock of Intesa Sanpaolo, which reported a profit in the first half of the year up by 17.8% (second quarter +6.5%), is down by about one point.

Out of the Ftse Mib, Carige still in the red at -5.71%, while Mps recovered 0.93% today.

Still holding back the oil. US crude fell 3%, returning to 2-week lows.
