On the other hand, students took the initiative to obtain the vaccine against the “Corona” virus, as soon as the health authorities in the country announced that the age for obtaining the vaccine would be reduced to 12 years old, stressing that it instills in them reassurance towards a realistic academic life free of infection with the virus.

The student, Abeer Muhammad, in the first grade of secondary school, said that she registered on the platform with the aim of taking the vaccine, which is the ideal way to eliminate the pandemic and protect Emirati society from transmission, which enables the return to school life directly inside the classrooms, which gives students communication skills. With professors and colleagues, taking the vaccine keeps the family safe.

The student, Sultan Saeed, said that he hastened to take two doses of vaccination against “Covid-19”, because it is considered safe, in order to preserve the health of his family members, and to ensure a return to school life as it was before, especially since students are looking forward to admission to universities after the results are announced, noting. He indicated that after taking the two doses, he did not feel any complications, which confirms that the vaccine is safe and there is no need to be afraid of obtaining it.

The student, Dalia Khaled, stated that she received the first dose of the vaccine against “Covid-19”, and the second will be next month, as the state provided the types of vaccinations against “Corona” free of charge to citizens and residents, especially the category of students who rushed to take it.

She added that obtaining the vaccine against the "Corona" virus will achieve a safe return to traditional education that most students were denied during an academic year and a half due to the pandemic, indicating that the students were eager to return to receive direct education, and thus meet classmates and teachers, which enables them to directly Receiving the lessons face to face, and thus interacting with them, which gives the student many skills that we have missed during the last period.

The next academic year (2021/2022) will start on August 29, according to the school calendar approved by the Ministerial Council for Development. The number of school days for the new school year is 186 days, and the year’s vacations are divided into winter vacation: December 12-30, 2021, vacation Spring: March 27-April 14, 2022, and summer vacation: start at the end of the academic year, and its duration does not exceed 8.2 weeks.
