It was after a twitter post on July 29 that Demirok (C) had to face the storm of hatred.

Since then, it has escalated and also affected the family.

"I have never been particularly exposed to hatred or threats before, so I have not been prepared for this wave of hatred that has washed up recently," he wrote in a post on Facebook.

The Twitter post, which was published last week and was met with strong reactions, he wrote:

Do you know what I'm really tired of?

Older, privileged and, dare I say, white men.

They throw out statements, guesses and pure untruths that they claim are facts, then they are offended when they are questioned or even refuted their "perfect" thesis ".

The post has been deleted and Demirok himself states that he formulated himself carelessly.

"In a weak moment, I lost my temper and let out a few words of affection," he writes.

"Neither my partner nor my children should have to deal with this and be exposed to the hatred I have had to face."
