Lebanon: Emmanuel Macron promises 100 million euros in aid to the population

A year after the explosion of the port of Beirut and while the country is plunged into a serious political and economic crisis, Emmanuel Macron opened the 3rd international conference of emergency aid to the Lebanese population.

This video-conference bringing together the UN and 40 countries, which aims to raise more than 350 million dollars.

The President of the Republic has announced aid of 100 million euros for France and the sending of 500,000 doses of vaccines to the Lebanese.
