It has been a tough year for Varberg boxing club.
The club has been close to being closed down for financial reasons.
But with a container, the chairman has managed to save the club.
The idea from the USA
- About 80 out of 140 have quit and not come back, this has affected the finances of the club.
I started watching Youtube and saw how other clubs had done in the US and then we bought the container, says Amilcar Garcia Lopez, chairman of Varberg Boxing Club.
The container stands at Kurtinen just a few 100 meters from Djupa Dräkt sea bath.
It is equipped with three beams to hang the bags on and inside the container other training equipment is stored.
The training takes place on the lawn outside.
- We have a large area here that we can train on and that means that we can be more here than in the room itself, says 17-year-old Enis Tahiri, one of the members.
