The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 191,032 new examinations were conducted during the past hours on different groups in society, using the best and latest medical examination techniques, with the aim of early detection and inventory of cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and their contacts, and isolating them.

The intensification of investigation and examination procedures in the country, and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level, contributed to the detection of 1,519 new cases of HIV infection of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases and subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total registered cases to 686,981 cases.

The Ministry also announced the death of five infected cases, as a result of the repercussions of infection with the emerging coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 1965 cases.

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection expressed its regret and sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured, calling on community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions, and adhere to social distancing, in order to ensure the health and safety of all.

The Ministry also announced the recovery of 1,470 new cases of people infected with the Corona virus, and its full recovery from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total recovery cases to 664,130 cases.

The Ministry announced that 51,290 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine had been provided during the past hours, bringing the total doses that were provided until yesterday to 16,935,702 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution is 171.23 doses per 100 people.
