On August 2, the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area made new progress. The eleventh pipe section (E11) of the immersed tube tunnel of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor completed the immersion and docking. So far, the total length of the immersed tube tunnel of the project is 1773.5 meters.
The construction took 22 hours, setting a new record for the shortest time for transportation and installation of immersed pipes in the deep-medium channel.
It is expected that at the end of August, the Shenzhong Corridor project will carry out the sinking and docking of the first pipe section on the east side and the first ultra-wide and widened pipe section E32 on the whole line.
