The spread of infection is still at a low level in most of Norrbotten's municipalities.
During week 30, however, a total of 101 new cases of infection were found in the county, which gives an incidence of 0.40 infected per 1000 inhabitants.
Such high numbers have not been had since week 26.
The exception is Älvsbyn, where the spread of infection was unusually high.
In Älvsbyn, 58 people were found to be infected with covid-19 during week 30, which can be compared with 0 cases the week before.
The Norrbotten Region's report states that the increase in the number of cases in week 30 consists entirely of sampling of berry pickers.
Cases outside this circle are 43, which is an unchanged level.
