On Tuesday, Letitia James, prosecutor and head of the state's Department of Justice, presented an independent investigation showing that Cuomo had sexually harassed several women.

The report contains testimonies from eleven women that show "a clear pattern of misconduct on the part of Cuomo".

The five-month investigation "has come to the conclusion that Governor Andrew Cuomo has sexually harassed a number of women and thereby violated federal and state law," James said at a news conference.

It is unclear whether the allegations will have any legal consequences.

Turns off

But Cuomo defends himself, claiming that he "never made any improper approaches or inappropriate sexual innuendos".

- That's not me.

And I have never been like that, says Cuomo.

The accusations have been going on for a long time and several big names within the party have demanded his resignation.

Asked if Cuomo could retain his post, James said:

- That decision is entirely up to the governor of New York.

The report speaks its own language.
