But with more cars on the roads due to the strong new car sales, the development has looked different, calculated per inhabitant.
For several years it was almost unchanged, but in 2019 a decrease was seen.
In 2020, the average mileage per inhabitant decreased more sharply by as much as seven percent, according to statistics from the RUS county administrative boards' liaison bodies.
