The body of a man was found on Saturday around 6.30 p.m. near Porge beach, in Gironde.

"The identification of the body was able to determine that it was the 44-year-old bather who disappeared on July 28 on La Cantine Nord beach, in the Porge sector", indicates the Maritime Prefecture of the Atlantic.

The man had disappeared while bathing with his son when they were carried away by a baïne.

The teenager, who had been able to reach the coast, immediately gave the alert.

An important research device had been set up to find the forty-something.
