The UK reported 22,000 new cases of COVID-19 per day, the lowest level since the end of June.

The UK government announced on the 2nd local time that there were 21,952 new cases of COVID-19.

The number of new cases per day decreased for the fourth day in a row, the lowest since June 29, when there were 2,479.

Contrary to the prediction that the number of confirmed cases will increase sharply after the easing of quarantine regulations on the 19th of last month in the UK, the rate of increase is rather slowing.

The Daily Mail reported that some are raising suspicions that it was the result of not being tested to avoid self-quarantine.

The number of tests today is the lowest since early July.
