Choi Jae-hyeong, former chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection, was appointed as the chairman of the People's Power supreme powerhouse, and Kang Myung-hoon, a '50-year-old' lawyer, was appointed as his sponsorship chairman.

Lawyer Kang and former Director Choi are from Gyeonggi High School, Seoul National University Law School, and a classmate for the bar exam.

At high school, college, and the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Kang, who was unable to move due to polio, was brought to school by Choi.

In a Facebook post titled 'To Myung-Hoon' today (2nd), former Director Choi wrote, "As we have been living together for over 50 years, he has given me a lot of strength, and he took the lead in the most difficult times."

He continued, "Fellow Koreans, I am now taking my first step as a preliminary candidate. Thankfully, my closest friend, lawyer Kang, took over as the sponsorship chairman. It's a great help."

Lawyer Kang, who has also represented the position of former President Choi in the media, has appealed for support, saying in a video released on Facebook, "Chief Choi has come out to capture the future of Korea."

After declaring his candidacy for president on the 4th, former president Choi plans to start fundraising for the supporters as early as this week.
