01 August 2021 The Italians who have completed the vaccination cycle against Covid have exceeded 32.4 million, a figure equal to 60% of the audience to be vaccinated made up of citizens over the age of 12. Thus the structure of the extraordinary commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency Francesco Figliuolo. It is, the general underlines, "an important milestone that confirms the validity of the plan implemented through the synergy between Regions / Autonomous Provinces, public and private bodies, Civil Protection, Defense and the world of voluntary associations". 



And he explains: "The vaccination campaign is proceeding continuously, with an average of more than 500,000 doses per day and will be able to count on the availability of further doses of Pfizer vaccine, starting from the third week of August", recalling that "this additional supply it was requested and obtained during talks between Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the president of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen, centered on the availability of vaccines and on redistribution between EU countries ". Italy ranks above the European average for the number of administrations in proportion to the population.



The objective, is then highlighted, by a note from the structure, "was achieved according to the forecasts of the plan drawn up at the beginning of March by the Structure led by General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo.
