More than 150 competitors from Västerbotten, Jämtland, Norrbotten and Västernorrland are taking part in the four-day shooting competition in Umeå.
Competition leader Åsa Edvinsson says that it is nice to finally be able to arrange the competition after they had a break due to covid-19.
- We planned to drive last year and had to postpone it several times so it feels great to kick start the race again, she says.
Mixed ages
The shooters, who are of mixed ages, compete in three disciplines: precision, fast shooting on the course and field shooting.
- We have no juniors now, unfortunately, but older veterans exist, as long as the eyes keep.
