To combat the elements, the forces of 2,253 people are involved with the involvement of 273 pieces of equipment.
Near the village of Sitte, the fire was extinguished with the help of a helicopter; 78 tons of water were dropped over the fire area.
The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations previously reported that in case of deterioration of the situation with fires, the necessary reserve was determined - the number of aircraft will be increased if necessary, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
