The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered Soma, Minister of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, to return home on the 1st.

Prime Minister Suga said, "It is a very inappropriate statement as a diplomat and I regret it," and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued to make adjustments in the direction of transferring Minister Soma.



And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ordered to return home on the 1st.

Minister Soma is expected to return home soon.



After serving as a counselor to the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, Minister Soma has been the general minister since July.
