In Russia, hunting for the Red Book animals was allowed in exceptional cases

This implies the federal laws of December 22, 2020 No. 455-FZ "On Amendments to the Federal Law" On the Animal World "and" On Hunting and the Conservation of Hunting Resources and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation ".

“This document excludes the provision prohibiting the implementation of any types of hunting for mammals and birds included in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation and (or) in the Red Data Books of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation ... is allowed only in exceptional cases in order to preserve objects of the animal world, ”the department said.

In addition, hunting for rare animals in Russia from August 1 is also permitted in order to regulate their number and eliminate the threat to human life.

The permit for the extraction of rare animals is authorized to issue Rosprirodnadzor.

Earlier in the Moscow region, a brown bear escaped from the owner.

The animal is listed in the Red Book of the Moscow Region.
