The story of an American father who survived the fire and rescued his twin daughters became known late.

A helping hand is coming to these families, who have lost all their property in the fire and suffered severe burns.

According to CNN on the 31st (local time), Ray Lucas, 23, of East Point, Michigan, went out to buy milk with his girlfriend for a while, and on the way back, saw his house set in flames.

Lucas didn't hesitate to jump into the burning house as his mother, who was at home, frantically called for help in the yard.

It was to bring their 18-month-old twin daughters.

"I was speechless, and the action was immediate," Lucas told CNN. "I ran home to pick up the babies."

"I was so happy to see that the kids weren't unconscious," he said, jumping through the flames and smoke and down to the basement where the twins were sleeping.

Lucas, holding her twin daughters in her chest, was barely able to escape by stepping back in her footsteps as the smoke made her blind.

After Lucas hands the children over to his mother, he later realizes that his niece is still in the house, and goes back into the house, but has not been able to find it.

As Lucas went out and looked at the backyard, he found his nephew by the window on the second floor.

He shouted to his nephew to jump out of the window, and then took it safely in his hand.

Lucas and her twin daughter, who were hospitalized for 5 days in the hospital's intensive care unit, suffered severe 2-3 degree burns to their face and body, and are still receiving treatment.

The house completely collapsed in a fire, causing the family to lose all their property and face huge medical bills, CNN reported.

Fortunately, 10 days after a relative posted the story on the online fundraising site 'Go Fund Me' on the 21st, a total of more than 350,000 dollars (about 400 million won) was returned.
