The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed the importance of informing the citizens of the country, wishing to travel, about the instructions and advice for travelers, and to ensure that they obtain the requirements and information regarding preventive measures against the emerging “Corona” virus (Covid-19) in the desired country before traveling to it.
She advised the citizen to follow the basic steps when planning travel, starting with visiting the ministry's website to ensure receiving the country to which he is going, then booking travel tickets, and fulfilling the requirements of the travel destination.
In the last media briefing, the authority stressed the importance of registering in the “My presence” service, in addition to reporting in the event of infection with the “Covid-19” virus, noting the keenness of the UAE for its nationals wherever they are or whether they are located, whether for study, treatment or tourism, as it communicates with them through its embassies. and consulates around the world, to help them.
It recommended travelers to follow travel protocols to ensure their safety, to ensure that the destination is among the green countries, to inquire about the extent of the epidemic in the destination to be traveled to, to adhere to all means of personal protection, according to the list of the World Health Organization, and to provide health insurance against “Covid-19”.
