A consolidated air group of the Russian Defense Ministry and the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the amount of 11 pieces of equipment will be sent to Turkey, ”the press service told TASS.
On July 31, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that areas in the south of the country affected by forest fires have been declared a disaster zone.
He also held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who confirmed that the country will continue to provide Turkey with comprehensive assistance in extinguishing fires.
