has set
Pedro Sánchez
the calendar for the Prime Minister to
"accelerate" three pending claims
that were part of the agreement signed between the two in December 2019:
the thirty transfers,
the delivery of the
entire management of the Minimum Living Income (IMV)
and the arrival
of the High Speed Train (TAV)
in the Basque Country with burial sites in Vitoria and Bilbao. Ortuzar calls on the socialist president
to make an "amendment purpose"
and in return commits himself to guaranteeing the "necessary stability" to exhaust the current legislature.
The PNV shields its traditions and has already turned the push and pull of negotiations with the minority governments of Spain into one of them. Ortuzar, after depositing a basket of flowers next to the statue of Sabino Arana in the Albia gardens of Bilbao, has masterfully executed the bicephaly that he shares with the Lehendakari

. Just one day after the celebration of the Conference of Presidents in Salamanca, the leader of the PNV has flatly rejected the accusations of
"blackmailers" and "pirates"

"Sánchez must make an amendment proposal because the Government has not behaved well with the Basque institutions," Ortuzar denounced before institutional representatives such as the Lehendakari Urkullu and the organic positions of the PNV leadership. The leader of the Basque nationalists has been upset with the criticism leveled against his party and against Urkullu for the "doubts" used by the Lehendakari about his presence in Salamanca, which were clarified when the agreement was announced to
transfer the management of three new taxes
to the Basque provincial estates and
the 1.2% increase in the budget deficit in 2022
for the regional government and the councils.
The president of the PNV has separated the meeting of the Concert with the presence of the lehendakari in Salamanca at the same time that he recognized the meetings of "late evening and badly" that characterize these crossed agreements in which the PNV and its representatives in the Basque Government intervene.

Ortuzar stressed in the act of celebration of the 126th anniversary of the birth of the PNV. And, among the most immediate, are the thirty transfers committed by Sánchez with a calendar that has already been delayed twice, the full management of the Minimum Vital Income that will be included as a Basque social aid and the completion of the new route of the High-speed train that accumulates more than a decade of delay.
Ortuzar, in addition, has insisted on the importance of "self-government" as an instrument to address the economic and social recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic and has been willing to give "free" to any government of Spain their votes in Congress
" if they let this people decide their future. "
For the moment, and while the PNV timidly waves the right to decide, it will continue to make its representation in Congress profitable in the face of the weakness of the Sánchez Executive.
