A one-year-old boy has been hit by a person on an electric scooter in Bergen in Norway, Norwegian police write on Twitter.
According to the post, the boy must be conscious and have been injured in one arm.
- The elbow was completely blue and the boy is taken to the emergency room, says Tore André Brakstad, operations manager in the western police district, to Norwegian TV 2.
The police have confirmed to the Norwegian newspaper VG that the driver drove away after the accident.
- The electric park cyclist fell off the vehicle, but got up quickly and drove away, says Tore André Brakstad to VG.
The police are on site and talking to witnesses.
The driver has not yet been apprehended, according to Brakstad.
- We are interested in getting in touch with the man, he says to TV 2.
