[Explanation] On July 29, the 2021 Cross-Strait Relations Seminar with the theme of "Cross-Strait Relations and Options" opened in Nanning, Guangxi.

　　[Explanation] Liu Jieyi, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Lan Lanli, deputy secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee and Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

More than 110 experts and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait participated in the conference online and offline.

　　[Commentary] Liu Jieyi said that the historical wheels of the reunification of the motherland are rolling forward, and no one or any force can stop it.

Reunification is a blessing, and "Taiwan independence" is a curse.

The "Taiwan independence" forces are enemies of the Chinese nation, and it is completely futile to oppose the historical trend of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and they will surely be judged by history and punished by the people.

For the sake of national justice, Taiwan's future, and self-interests, the broad masses of Taiwan compatriots must stand up and work together to eradicate the roots of "Taiwan independence" and resolutely defeat the "Taiwan independence" conspiracy.

　　[Explanation] Hong Xiuzhu, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang and chairman of the China Qingyan Peace Education Foundation, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

She said that the future of Taiwan is closely related and inseparable from the destiny of the Chinese nation. "Taiwan independence" will only bring harm and misfortune to Taiwan.

Compatriots on both sides of the strait should work together towards a bright future of peaceful reunification and national rejuvenation.

Let the two sides of the strait return to the right track of peaceful development, put peace as the most important, put the people's well-being first, and pursue a win-win situation for both sides of the strait.

I believe that Taiwan will be able to stand on the shoulders of giants, achieve great economic development, and enjoy the beautiful fruits of one family on both sides of the strait and creating prosperity together.
