At Broadway in New York, USA, which is scheduled to resume in September, it has become mandatory for the audience as well as the performers to be vaccinated against the new coronavirus in principle.

The Broadway musical has been suspended since March last year due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but we are planning to resume the performance from September 14th.

Regarding this, an organization created at theaters in New York announced on the 30th that in principle vaccination will be required not only for performers and theater staff, but also for visiting spectators.

Children under the age of 12 who are not eligible for vaccination or those who cannot be vaccinated for religious reasons are required to test negative for the virus.

This measure will continue until the end of October at all 41 theaters on Broadway, with a renewed policy in September for performances after November.

The group says, "Safety is our top priority and we maintain the highest standards of public health. We look forward to welcoming you to the magical Broadway world."
