A famous Nigerian influencer has accused the no less famous commissioner Abba Kyari of having received money to have one of his former associates arrested.

An investigation has been opened against one of the Nigerian police chiefs, the famous Deputy Police Commissioner Abba Kyari, implicated by a Nigerian social media star known as Hushpuppi.
This influencer is currently on trial in the United States for fraud over nearly $ 20 million.
Hushpuppi pleaded guilty to money laundering.

Hushpuppi claimed to have paid a bribe to Police Commissioner Abba Kyari, known for his high-profile investigations, to arrest one of his former associates.

It is via a social network that Commissioner Abba Kyari denies the charges against him.
“
No one asked Abbas Hushpuppi for money and no one collected money from him,
” the policeman wrote on his Facebook page.
However, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas alias Hushpuppi affirmed before the American justice, that the commissioner was his accomplice.
He said in particular that he paid Abba Kyari to arrest one of his former associates, Kelly Chibuzo Vincent.
Cyber scams
In his confession, Hushpuppi admitted to having participated in several cyber-scams.
And in particular the one targeting a businessman who wanted to finance the construction of a school in Qatar.
In this case, his intention was to steal 920,000 euros.
Collector of luxury 6-figure cars, Hushpuppi also nicknamed "The Billionaire Gucci Blaiso", regularly featured on Instagram, to the delight of his 2.3 million subscribers.
And without hesitation, Hushpuppi chose to drag another figure of Nigerian social networks into his fall.
