July 30, 2021 Still at risk of trials for serious crimes, such as environmental disasters, bankruptcies, manslaughter and arson: from the CSM the alarm is renewed on the proceedings destined to end in nothing even after the agreement reached by the Council of Ministers on the inadmissibility.

"It has only taken time, the appeals will increase and thousands of trials will go up in smoke", affirms the toga councilor Giuseppe Marra (Autonomy and independence), who yesterday in plenum had feared the risk of inadmissibility also for the proceedings on the Morandi bridge and on the cable car of Mottarone.

The parent company of LeU in the Senate, Loredana De Petris, considers it “serious and inexplicable that the impossibility of prosecution has remained unchanged for environmental disaster crimes. Not only are these crimes among the most serious, devastating for the environment and for people's health. Those processes are also those for which the prescription is most easily triggered ”, he concludes.
