The execution rate of the reconstruction budget for the Great East Japan Earthquake last year was the highest ever, at just over 74%, as many projects had 10 years as the final year after the earthquake.

According to the Reconstruction Agency, the reconstruction budget recorded in the second year of Reiwa last year was 2.50.1 trillion yen, while the actual budget was 1,085.4 billion yen, and the execution rate was the previous year. It increased by more than 13 points from the above to 74.2%, the highest ever.

The Reconstruction Agency attributed this to the fact that many projects had a final year of 10 years after the earthquake.

In addition, the total reconstruction budget used in the 10 years from the occurrence of the earthquake to last year was 38,171.1 billion yen.

The Reconstruction Agency said, "Reconstruction of housing and infrastructure development have been almost completed. We will continue to work on the remaining issues such as mental care of the victims and reconstruction of the area affected by the accident at TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. ".
