There are probably many who like to have cloudberries on freshly baked waffles or pick them directly from the ground during the mountain hike. But according to researchers in Abisko National Park, where the fiery yellow berries grow, the future is uncertain for both the bogs and the pollinating bumblebees. This may in the future lead to the berries becoming of lower quality.
- If the bogs dry out and the pollinators become fewer, it is not certain that you can go and buy cheap deer in a store as you can today, says Keith Larson, researcher at Umeå University.
In the clip, you get to follow a bog and hear the researcher talk more about the problem.
