The Council of Statutory Guarantees has endorsed the decree of the Generalitat by which it created the fund of 10 million to cover the bonds of the independence leaders accused of embezzlement through the Catalan Institute of Finance.
However, it warns that this mechanism must be "exceptional and very limited in time" and recommends modifying the wording of the rule to support the involvement of the
Catalan ICO
in the Government's maneuver.
After receiving the approval of the
Catalan TC -
adopted unanimously -, the Parliament will validate this afternoon the decree of the Generalitat and, foreseeably, it will do so with the support of the PSC, which had advanced that it would support the Government's ruse if the consultative body he considered that it was in accordance with the Statute and the Constitution, as has finally happened.
